Established in 2019, M&G is a non-profit corporation established to incubate and support the entrepreneurial ideas created by Cooper Union students, staff, faculty and alumni!
How does it work?
Cooper teams apply to the program with an idea for a new venture, with a focus on solving current world problems. Teams with promising ideas will be matched with a team of mentors, spearheaded by a mentor captain with experience in the team’s field of knowledge and idea development stage. At the end of each academic cycle, teams will report on their progress and be eligible for continued support from the lab.

Alumni & mentors
Mentors are key to our interdisciplinary teams! We are always looking for new Cooper Union alumni, professionals or companies to add to our network. If you would like to join or collaborate with us, you can complete this form to get started!
Are you a Cooper student?
The projects of our students have a positive impact on a large community across multiple disciplines, may it be for medical or sustainability purposes. Students can apply to our program as a team and work on product and business model development for one or more semesters.
