Tap.in is led by Oliver Coria (Art '25). My generation grew up with the idea that social media connected the world, but eventually we grew to understand that as a myth. Tap.in was born from the desire to see if social media could finally accomplish what it was meant to do: bring people together. In New York, hundreds of exciting events happen every night, but, gatekept and unknown, it’s easier to doom scroll in bed every night instead of going out and finding them. Tap.in encourages everyone to get outside and explore.
